In spite of Unity's discouraging news, Blackmask will continue development until further notice.
It's not ideal to me personally, but my programmer insists on holding out, so we're sticking to it as a two man team.
I'm still gonna look into learning alternate game engines like Game Maker and Godot in my personal time as it's still nice to have the skills. For now, we'll see if we can bank on a retraction from Unity enough to keep out of legal hot water from their rent seekers.
