[An Odd Encounter]

Fantastic Artstyle. I was expecting a bigger shoe to drop with the moth getting things trippy. I supposed I'm looking for what the main kid got out of experiencing that wonder of the forest, like a new lease on life, or a bigger appreciation of nature. Perhaps you could have begun the animation with the kid grumpy about getting his socks wet at first then learning that the wet socks isn't the problem. I'm pitching story ideas so you don't have to take this seriously.

This is pretty nice. You've done more art stuff in art school than 80% of artists who draw all those OCs and don't do anything with them. The sheer fact that you're continuing on to newer avenues of creation is still admirable. I myself still harbor feelings to make a webcomic, but it's mostly because I feel like it's the only art thing that I could make of value. Keep on, keeping on, because you'll be the one to stand over it all! Sorry for the sappiness.
